Outlook is the electronic messaging software that Sandhills uses. It is highly important that you check your email frequently as information regarding your courses, financial aid, eForms, etc. could be sent to you in this way. It is not the same as Gmail, Yahoo, or Hotmail. The term “Webmail” on MySCC is the same as accessing your school’s email via the web version of Outlook. You can also use the Outlook mobile app if your device allows.
NOTE: For iPhone users, it is not recommended that you sync your Sandhills email to your phone’s native app called “Mail” as issues could arise. Our ITS deparment insist you download Outlook from your app store and use the actual Outlook app accordingly.
How to Access School Email:
- If you are a new student, please ensure you’ve set up your account using the “Online Student Accounts Overview & Setup” option on MySCC.
- If that’s done, on the MySCC page, click “Webmail”.
- Sign in with your Sandhills credentials and it should lead you to your emails.
