How to Locate Your Instructor

If you’re looking into how you can identify your instructor and the best way to contact them, do the following:

  1. Login to Moodle.
  2. Under “My Courses” across the top, select the course you wish to identify the instructor for.An arrow pointing to the "My Courses" tab and a circle surrounding an example course .
  3. On the right-hand side of the course, you may have to expand your block drawer by clicking the arrow pointing to the left.
  4. Once open, you should see a Faculty block with your instructor’s name and contact information.

5. If one isn’t listed in the block drawer, click on the Participants tab in the course.

6. Out of the list of participants, your instructor will have a “Teacher” role. You can select that individual’s name to see their email.

Can’t access the class to find out your instructor’s name?

  1. Login to Self-Service, using your Sandhills credentials.
  2. Click on “Student Planning”
  3. Your course(s) should include an instructor name.
  4. You can look that instructor up using the school’s directory.
